Ice blocking
An employee of Earl Warren Showgrounds contacted authorities after discovering a hole cut in the fence separating the fairground and the neighboring Santa Barbara Community Golf Course. It appeared unknown vandals used the point of entry onto the course to accommodate “ice-blocking” — sliding down a nearby fairway on blocks of ice.
I want them as *my* friends!

My dream, of course, is to get a 300 pound block of ice, ride it down a long, grassy hill at top speed, and then (having cleaned off the grass, of course), proceed to the second use of the same ice block.
The beauty of this, of course, is that by midmorning on a summer day, all the evidence will have melted away....
